Do you have a catalogue?

No. We list all of our products - with any offer prices or bulk discounts - on our website. We also offer frequent, lower-price deals on particular products, and continue to expand our product ranges, so avoid using catalogues simply because we don’t want our customer’s buying options to be restricted by out-of-date information.

How do you manage to keep your prices so low?

We have close links with all of our manufacturers and only buy our products in huge quantities. We can therefore negotiate very low prices with all of our suppliers and can pass these prices directly on to our customers.

Who can I speak with regarding a large storage project?

We have our own team of shelving and racking experts to offer advice on larger storage projects.

This service is free-of-charge and includes:

Will I receive a VAT invoice?

Can you quote me a special price before I order?

Yes, please speak to a member of our sales team on 01452 221443 (or contact us via e-mail at sales@racking.com). Our advisors can offer expert, impartial advice on all of our products and can also provide an individually-tailored quotation. We always advise that, prior to making any large orders, our customers contact our Customer Services Team to ensure that they are getting all of the cost-saving benefits available from making a large order.

Our Customer Service Advisors are available between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 on Monday to Friday. Our Sales lines are open between 08:00 to 23:00 on Monday to Friday and between 09:00 and 18:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Please call 01452 221443 if you would like to speak to somebody.

Do I have to pay by credit/debit card?

We can accept payment by credit card, debit card, BACS, CHAPS or Paypal. We can also accept a cheque payment but we will need 7 working days for it to clear before we can despatch your order. Please telephone our Sales Team on 01452 221443 for any questions regarding payment.

Can I have a Proforma Invoice?

Yes, please e-mail the details of your order to sales@racking.com and we will e-mail, post or fax it back to you.

Can I open a credit account?

We offer 30-Day Credit Accounts to Public Sector customers only. Please download the form below and follow the instructions provided. Please ensure that applications are completed in full. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Can I collect my order?

No, our orders can only be dispatched via a courier. We do, however, offer a free delivery service and the option of upgrading to Next Day delivery (for an additional surcharge of £3.95 +VAT) for any items needed in a hurry.

How much does delivery cost?

Most of our products are both large and heavy to transport and therefore incur a higher delivery charge. However, we offer FREE Mainland UK delivery for all orders over £350 +VAT. We constantly check our delivery rates and ensure our rapid delivery charges are kept as low as possible. We also monitor our carriers to ensure that we are using the best companies to deliver your goods.

Why hasn’t my delivery arrived?

We use external couriers to deliver the majority of our orders and we monitor these couriers to ensure that they always achieve the delivery targets they have been given. We cannot, however, guarantee that they will always deliver on a specified date because of reasons outside of our control. On average, more than 95% of our orders do get delivered on the given date but some are susceptible to conditions outside of our control. On the few occasions that this happens, it is likely that your order will be delivered on the following day. We nevertheless suggest that if an order has not been delivered on the date you have been given, you contact our Customer Services Team on 01452 221443 (or e-mail us at customerservices@racking.com). We will then track your order and rearrange a delivery date that is convenient to you.
